||A Fierce and Fabulous night benefits IL Safe Schools Alliance

It was a Fierce & Fabulous night at Lakeview's minibar on Halsted Street as MODA Boutique walked a cat walk and raised money for the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance, an organization dedicated to promoting a healthy environment about LGBT issues in the Illinois education system. Many may know the group from its Youth Leadership Summits or annual demonstration Day of Silence/Night of Noise.
A video was shown with youth describing their futures in their own words and sharing personal stories. Halsted Vodka sponsored drinks and attendees won raffle prizes; in between, models paraded MODA fashions.
Partnering with the Legacy Walk is just part of the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance's aim to bring rich history to the organization for the future.
