The 5th Annual Santa Hustlea race where participants dress as Santawill take place Saturday, Dec. 7, in cities around the country.
In Chicago, the course starts on Museum Campus Drive and heads south onto the trails past McCormick Place, then makes a U-turn and comes back up north to finish on Museum Campus Drive.
Participants receive a free Santa hat, beard, and dri-fit shirt to wear while running. There will be holiday decorations, festive music, cookie and candy stations along the course and an after party at Navy Pier.
Racers can register online at www.active.com/chicago-il/running/santa-hustle-chicago-5k-2013. Registration cost is $45 per person, and the race is open to any age.
