Pictured Some of the faces of the 30 Under 30 This year's Windy City Times 30 Under 30 includes a few from past years (yes, they seem to be going for the record), plus new faces to the GLBT-and-allies list. These are people who have either impacted the GLBT community, or they have impacted the mainstream as openly GLBT individuals.
This month, we mark 35 years since the Stonewall Riots, the beginning of the modern gay-rights movement. Think of it this way—every one of the people on our list was born at least five years (in some cases 15+ years!) after Stonewall. The new revolution has begun.
Each year, WCT asks the community to nominate for this contest. See below for profiles of this year's 30 Under 30—a busy group of people nominated by their friends and colleagues for the work they do for all of us.

We also have two groups nominated for the activities of the numerous youth within their ranks. In the past, the youth of About Face Youth Theatre have been honored together, for example.
This year, the young Latino/a youth of Homofrecuencia, the nation's first LGBT Latino/a youth radio show, are honored. As are the 2004 Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network scholarship winners.
