The seventh annual 3% Conference will be held at the Navy Pier Nov. 8-9.
The 3 percent movement came about in response to the fact that 3% of Creative Directors were women and few were people of color. The group was founded on the belief that the more people generating ideas, the better the ideas would be.
There will be interactive keynote presentations from industry leaders such as Daisy Tinsley Barnett, of LinkedIn: Kofi Amoo-Gottfried, of Facebook; Naz Arandi, of Airbnb; and other professionals who are creating more inclusive work environments.
The 3% Movement is considered one of the creative industry's leading voices for gender equality and diversity.
