Queer political candidate Karla Bailey-Smith will hold a virtual town hall with Equality Illinois Public Policy Director Mike Ziri on Thursday, June 18, at 7:30 p.m.
They will talk about legislative history, goals and celebrating Pride around COVID.
Bailey-Smith is looking to represent the 88th District ( which includes such cities as Bloomington ) in the Illinois state House. The current rep is Republican Keith Sommer, who has held the post since 1999.
