The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce ( ACC ) has launched a COVID-19 recovery campaign, #AlwaysAndersonville: Small Business Made.
A digital tool kit has been created and provided to the chamber's businesses. The graphics included are available for use by the public as well, and customers can view the unified door signs in advance to understand what they will see upon visiting Andersonville.
#6FTSAFE stenciling of district sidewalks has been completed. In addition, "PICKUP ON CLARK" street pole signs will also go up along Clark denoting temporary parking for customers visiting for quick curbside pickup and, on Wed., May 13, ACC and SSA ( Special Service Area ) #22 are working with a local sanitation service, KenActiv, to sanitize and spray Andersonville's SSA boundaries. KleenActiv has also offered to sanitize inside of businesses who request their services.
Campaign posters for #AlwaysAndersonville: Small Business Made have started to go up throughout the district as well. The messaging"Active. Adapting. Always"is a mantra organizers hope the community responds to, as the businesses in Andersonville are counting on their continued support now and throughout the phases of reopening and recovery in order to stay afloat.
