Chicago International Film Festival 7:00pm
Saltburn, from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman), will be the Festival Centerpiece. Also Rustin tells the story of Bayard Rustin, the openly gay architect of the 1963 March on Washington and an acclaimed architect. Other films include Eric Laura, Academy Award-nominated Chicago actor Michael Shannon's directorial debut; the David Fincher film The Killer (partially shot in Chicago), which stars Michael Fassbender; and Justine Triet's Anatomy of a Fall, which won the Cannes Palme d'Or. Including venues: AMC NEWCITY 14, the Music Box Theatre, the Gene Siskel Film Center, the Chicago History Museum, the Hamilton Park Cultural Center, Harrison Park, the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts at the University of Chicago and the Museum of Contemporary Art. They will also be presented virtually via the festival's streaming platform. Through Oct. 22.
