In WNBA action, the Las Vegas Aces routed the Chicago Sky 103-70 at Wintrust Arena on Sept. 17.
A day after Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot declared Sept. 16 to be "Candace Parker Day," the Sky forward led the team in points scored, with 20.
Chicago had just two players score in double figures while the Aces had six players score at least 10 points. Sky forward Kahleah Copper finished the game with 18 points.
With the win, Las Vegas secured a double bye in the 2021 WNBA playoffs.
The Sky will conclude the team's 2021 regular season with a matchup against the Indiana Fever at Wintrust Arena on Sunday, Sept. 19; the tip-off is set for 5 p.m. CT. Fans can cheer on the Sky on CBS Sports Network / The U before the 2021 WNBA Playoffs begin.
