Jarred Tinordi helped carry Chicago to a victory after recording two goals to secure the team's win. Head coach Luke Richardson noted that Tinordi's first goal of the night would be the one to change the momentum of the game after trailing 2-0 in the first period.
Also, Chicago's Filip Roos scored his first NHL goal.
Next, the Blackhawks will host the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday, Nov. 14.
Maybe Northwestern should play more games outside the United States.
The Minnesota Gophers Football team (7-3, 4-3) got its third consecutive Big Ten win as it ran over the Northwestern Wildcats (1-9) in a 31-3 victory.
After a season-opening victory versus Nebraska in Ireland, this is the Wildcats' ninth consecutive loss.
The Gophers (7-3) entered the game with the fourth-best scoring defense in the country, allowing just 14.2 points per game, The Chicago Tribune noted. Injuries forced NU coach Pat Fitzgerald to use four quarterbacks.
NU will next visit Purdue on Saturday, Nov. 19.
