During the first season of American Idol Kelly Clarkson was voted the winner, while finalist Jim Verraros may have had less spotlight, but he just released his second single 'You're Getting Crazy ( Estas Enloqueciendo ) ' from his album Rollercoaster on Koch Records. While the singer is as cute as a button with a tough image, Jim is also an Out Music Award winner and appeared in the acclaimed independent film Eating Out. It's a relief to know some of the Idol kids can act.

The latest pop diva to market a perfume is Marilyn Manson per his interview with Women's Wear Daily. While the gothic icon is still finalizing the details, he remains hopeful that his scent will be out early next year with a possible cosmetics line to follow. The once controversial king of shock has taken a favorable turn into acting, having lost himself in his roles in films like Jawbreaker and Party Monster.

After regrouping with Barry Manilow for her tribute album to Rosemary Clooney, Bette returns in fine form here with Barry as the musical director. Imogen Heap should be a recognizable name, she recently has opened for Rachel Yamagato. After 2002's side project Frou Frou's debut Details, contributing on LHB's song 'Coming Up for Air' and appearing on the O.C. soundtracks, the brunette Brit returns with Speak for Yourself on RCA Victor, her follow-up to 1998's I Megaphone. Recruiting Rollo as a producer was the fit Cass needed to complete her debut Come Here. The young singer nearly scrapped her album, feeling too removed from the project, but Dido's older brother understood the 'Out of My Reach' singer's intentions. Cass's debut single 'Touch Me' soared to the top of the charts overseas, but with a window of four years, she is able to make a proper debut without compromise.
