To commemorate World AIDS Day, The AIDS Foundation of Chicago ( AFC ) hosted its annual World of Chocolate Dec. 3 at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan. More than 30 people competed for the first-ever Chocolate Bliss Recipe Challengeultimately won by Robyn Rice Foster for her Southern Sweet Potato Milk Chocolate Truffles. The celebrity judges bestowed many honors upon Peninsula Hotel, including the People's Choice Award. More than 1,500 people attended, and many chocoholics waited in long lines for samples provided by some of Chicagoland's finest restaurants, caterers and chocolatiers. The annual fundraiser brought in more than $200,000 for the evening. For more information about AFC, visit www.aidschicago.org .
