BOOKS Janelle Monae in Chicago April 22 to discuss 'The Memory Librarian'

Singer-songwriter, actor, fashion icon and author Janelle Monae will visit Chicago's Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph St., as part of the tour for her new book, The Memory Librarian and Other Stories of Dirty Computer.

This event will take place Friday, April 22, at 7 p.m. Monae will be joined by collaborating writer Sheree Renee Thomas in a conversation Theater Gates will moderate.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 18, at 12 p.m. for the general public. American Writers Museum members will have first access beginning at 10 a.m. that day.

All tickets come with a copy of The Memory Librarian, but a select number of signed copies will be available to purchase at an additional cost.
