After their wedding Saturday, June 16, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg ( left ) and Chasten Glezman took a detour from St. James Episcopal cathedral on the way to their reception. They stopped by the city's Pride block party to thank the people who came out to support the gay-rights movement. The Mayor explained, "this marriage that's the most important thing in our lives wasn't even possible until very recently."
