Fausto Fernos ( right, from San Juan, Puerto Rico ) and Marc Felion ( from Erie, Pennsylvania ) exchanged wedding vows on Halloween, Oct. 31, in their home studio in Andersonville.

Felion, the son of Kathryn Felion and the late Thomas R. Felion, is a graduate of Gannon University and received an MBA from Loyola Chicago.

Fernos, the son of Patricia Fernos and the late Gonzalo Fernos, is a graduate of the University of Texas and received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Together, the couple host the Feast of Fun podcast and Cooking with Drag Queens, a new documentary Web series.

The ceremony—officiated by comedian Deven Green, best known for her portrayal of "Betty Bowers: America's Best Christian"—may be viewed online at Link Here .

A ring-exchange ceremony and party for friends and family are planned for summer 2015.

Carmichael-Bowman

Longtime Central Illinois LGBT activists Buff Carmichael ( right ) and Jerry Dean Bowman celebrated their 22 years together with a marriage ceremony Sept. 22 at Weldon Springs State Park near Clinton, Illinois.

The couple, who live in Springfield, Illinois, were key supporters of the marriage equality push in Springfield in 2013, and Carmichael was one of 13 co-chairs of the March on Springfield for Marriage Equality.

Carmichael, for many years, also published the Prairie Flame newspaper, a critical voice for central and southern Illinois LGBTs. The publication ran from July 1996 to February 2008.

Dozens of family members, friends and other activists attended the ceremony.

LaHaie-Hudson

Steve LaHaie and Craig Hudson were wedding Oct. 12 at Ignite Glass Blowing Studio in Chicago.

Approximately 185 family members and friends celebrated with the couple, who have been togrther for 41 years.

The passed hors d' oeuvre and bountiful buffets were prepared by Shaw's Crab House and L2O, both Lettuce Entertain You Enterprise Restaurants. LaHaie is managing partner of Shaw's Crab House.
